The STAINLESS STEEL SANDWICH BOTTOM FRYING PAN is an uncoated commercial frying pan built for high-heat searing, where a non-stick surface would break down and where fond, the browned base that builds pan sauces, is part of the technique.
A sandwich bottom bonds a heavy aluminium core between stainless steel layers, spreading heat evenly across the base rather than concentrating it in hot spots. That means no scorched centres, no raw edges, and reliable results on gas, induction, and electric ranges alike. That even, high-retention base delivers a proper sear when cold protein hits the pan, rather than the temperature drop that leaves meat grey and steaming.
Built in SUS443 stainless steel across 20cm to 40cm, the range covers single steaks through to batch cooking. For Malaysian Western kitchens, hotels, and grill restaurants, it is the pan that handles the heat that non-stick cannot.
- Uncoated Stainless Cooking Surface
- Built for high-heat searing and fond development for pan sauces.
- Sandwich Bottom Construction
- Holds temperature when cold product hits the pan, ensuring a proper sear.
- SUS443 Stainless Steel Body
- Corrosion-resistant grade that withstands severe thermal cycling.
- Nine Sizes, 20cm to 40cm
- From single portions to batch cooking.
- No Coating to Wear Out
- Nothing to scratch or degrade, so the working life is measured in years.
For Western kitchens, grill restaurants, and hotels, sear steaks, chops, and other proteins at high heat. Fond development makes it the right pan for building pan sauces and deglazing.
Non-stick coatings fail at searing temperatures; uncoated stainless does not. No coating also means no wear item, so the pan outlasts several non-stick replacements.
