At the heart of the HMD200R is a precision-balanced 1/3 Hp motor with sealed, permanently lubricated ball bearings — engineered for long-lasting, maintenance-free daily use. The sealed motor housing prevents mix from entering the motor housing and causing motor failure, while the easy-to-replace Quick Connect motor minimises downtime should servicing ever be required. Three speeds plus a unique fingertip-action pulse switch give operators complete control over mixing consistency across every preparation, and the convenient 2-way motor activation — via cup guide or pulse switch — allows both hands-free and manual operation to suit any workflow.

The cup guide activation automatically starts the motor when the mixing cup is inserted and stops it when the cup is removed — reducing errors and speeding up service. Increased cup clearance makes it easy to remove the cup after mixing, and the cup guide pulls out for easy dishwasher cleaning.
